One thing you have to keep in mind while reading these is that Marianne is…she’s a very affectionate little weirdo. It doesn’t take that much for her to start liking you, and it’s pretty hard to get on her bad side. You either have to a.) mortally hurt her friends or b.) mess with her work. Making fun of her will probably make her upset, but she won’t start hating you~
_{….you’ll also notice a number of nicknames. She likes her nicknames very much~}

♥Claudia: Or “Foxy-fox”. Marianne first met Claudia when she was stuck in her child form. That was also the time she'd tried to squeeze the life out of the little chibi with hugs. When Claudia regained her original form Marianne learned that she often had nightmares and actually ended up hurting herself in her sleep. Since this she's been concerned for Claudia, but they haven't really talked since then.

♥Damien: The first time she'd met the allosaurus was when he was a toy, and she'd mistakenly thought he was a gecko! Since then that's pretty much how she identifies him ( she knows he's a dinosaur now, but “Gecko” is a much better nickname) She's aware that it annoys him to shit, but it's just plain fun to do She, like Claudia, hasn’t seen him around very often.
Marianne also adores his child form. The freaking adorable lizard fasfds ///////////

♥Ruben: Or “Dr. Grump” ( never to his face though lmao ) He's just her boss, but she's very interested in his creations, so she'll probably bug him for advice every now and then.

♥Redrosid: Red was the first person she met at the store and took a liking to him quickly. The fairy's cupcakes were among the best things she'd ever eaten, after all = u =/ She hasn’t seen the troublemaking little pixie in a while, but she’s heard some pretty unsavory rumors about him…

♥Orca: Marianne considers Orca a very good, very close friend, since she's one of the few who can tolerate the redhead's presence. She worries that she tries Orca's patience a lot, but greatly adores the creepy doll. She’s very attached to her and clings to her ribbon a lot~

♥Dolly: Or “Dolly-face”. She basically thinks Dolly is one of the sweetest and most adorable things on the planet, though they've only talked a few times. She worries sometimes that Dolly's extreme kindness might get her into trouble.

♥Amon: Or “Little Crow”. Like Dolly, the she thinks Amon is precious and possibly one of the cutest things in the store. Though, she thinks she annoys him a bit....like a lot of other people lmfao;; she finds the “mother-father-son” relationship he, Ruben, and Aleister have both amusing and very endearing~

♥Nico: Or “Snakey.” She likes watching his fireworks mishaps, and it's even more amusing when he gets in trouble for it~ She's already had a bad encounter with his snakes, but since Nico is entertaining, she can forgive them. Because Nico is also very easily fooled, she takes great pleasure in pulling little mindgames on him~

♥En: The first time Marianne met En was....when she tried to help En out and ended up getting swiped at for it. She didn't hold it against her though, 'cause she kinda _{hurt her _{a lot}} when trying to help;; she thinks En's a nice person, though a little quiet.

♥Psyche: Affectionately called by “Cotton-bum, Rummy-bun, Fantastic Mr. Fluff, etc.” She loves this rabbit's ears forever. Damn the fact that he'll probably kill her for it, they're fluffy, tuggable, and when they are tugged she gets a huggable, squeaky plush. Cuteness aside, she can tell he's an egotistic such-and-such, but can deal with it simply because he’s too amusing to be around~ Though she commonly abuses his “ear weakness”, she’s careful to keep that little fact a secret.

♥Belze: The first person in her “closest friends” grouping. Marianne adores this cookie-eating dog and commonly calls him “Wuff-wuff.” She also wishes his owner would stop trying to kill him on a regular basis. She very rarely sees him in his human form, usually only as a little plush dog “as tall as two apples.” Not that she’s complaining though; that makes it more fun to play fetch!

♥Leiyla: The second member of a little circle of her self-proclaimed closest friends. This little ka'rat very easily won Marianne's friendship by helping her bake the best damn mocha cake she'd had in a long time she believes Leiyla is one of the nicest people she's ever met and absolutely loves her ears constantly~. “Lei-lei” worries her often, with her quietness, tendency to space out, and aversion to hugs. (a friend of hers that doesn’t accept hugs?? BLASPHEMY) She’s already squabbled with Leiyla’s less-than-brotherly brother for mentally, and physically, beating her down, and she probably wouldn’t hesitate to do it again~

♥Partuce: Or “Parttie”. The little bird is so quiet and reserved that he actually makes Marianne a little nervous…always look out for the quiet ones! But he’s also freaking adorable and very kind, so she does enjoy his company…when he actually talks~

♥Samuel: Or “Anchor kid.” Like most of her dearest friends, Sam has the redhead’s absolute trust. He’s awkward, lazy, and a total hazard to himself, but he has a very, very odd charm that makes a lot of people like him, Marianne included~ she still needs to take him on a bungee-jumping adventure over a rapid river

♥Tristan: Or “Mr Glasses-man”. Tristan is another close companion that Marianne can place her cares in. The four-eyed, cautious, awkward, and conservative boy is usually her “killjoy” friend, but every crazy person needs one! She still feels really bad about breaking one of his pairs of glasses, though….

♥Sugar Scout: Or “Carrot-top”. Another one of her little shota pals~ He has an insatiable sweet tooth that she finds cute, and funny. She’s never seen anyone more addicted to lollipops and hot cocoa, which she likes making for him, among other things~ she tried once to help him get stronger…but the kid just wasn’t cut out for fighting ffft. Marianne’s recently encountered an evil little demon that’s been trapped in the ragdoll, but she doesn’t know if she should feel kinship to it… or distaste because he refuses to give her little ginger his body back BI

♥Gabriel: Or “Ghostie”. Marianne has very, very mixed feelings about this little spirit. She first encountered him scavenging the kitchen for something to eat…and that was when he encountered the magic of the coffee bean. She’ll often brew him some of the wonderful beverage, or just ground up the beans and give them to him as a snack. However, if he’s too weak for coffee to sustain him…he’ll attack her with his spade and grope her soul until he’s full. She’s gotten used to it….but it’s still uncomfortable as heck fasfsdfs
But on the other hand, Marianne has noticed his complete and utter disregard for rules, and his misconduct is particularly damaging to the Soul Collector’s department. He keeps eating all their work! She gets miffed whenever he makes someone steal souls for him. But the worst thing he’s done was when he created a monster in the assembler’s room by himself, no permission whatsoever! It was the only time she’s ever gotten genuinely angry at someone.
She still loves the little ghost like a brother, but he’s really begun to worry her….

♥Yzvin: Ahh, this woman….probably the only person who’s ever been able to creep Marianne out~ The only times she’s encountered Yzvin is from the shadows…when she’s lurking about. But Marianne thinks Yzvin is one of the coolest workers in the store…and she wishes she would stop creeping in the dark corridors long enough for a conversation fffsfd

♥Inessa: Or “Miss Deer-lady”. Marianne thinks Inessa is a kind, friendly little deer, and she’s very fond of her~ of course…like many others, she worries that she tries Inessa’s patience often. The deer is another quiet one, which sets Marianne a bit on edge….but they seem to get along very well over torturing Nico~

♥Suzanne: Or “Twirly-girl”. A very shy little music box that Marianne enjoys being around~ Suzanne is yet another quiet toy, but she doesn’t mind her soft-spoken-ness as much as some of the others. One of the things about the ballerina is that she seems…very sensitive, so Marianne tends to watch her words around her and does try to calm down a bit~

♥Adrien: Or “Aragog, the Spectacular Spider-man, Black Widower, Tarantella, etc., etc.,”~ she loves making up nicknames for this demonic arachnid even more than with Psyche~ Adrien is one of the people with a low tolerance for annoyance, and unfortunately for him, annoyance is one of Marianne’s strong points. If nothing else, she loves to bug (nopunintendedlmao) the absolute shit out of him

♥Meka: Or “Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto”. This robot amuses her to no freaking end. He takes everything so literally that it’s almost unfortunate, but she adores Meka and his odd, calculated behavior~ If he could only control his muffin addiction he’d be one of her best friends. She hasn’t seen Meka in a long time, and she really wants to catch up with him~

♥Piat & Patch: Her two favorite plushes in the whole wide world Piat is Leiyla’s pet cat, and Patch is his almost identical clone made to be Marianne’s helper toy. She has nothing but affection and pettings for the both of them~

♥Adeline: “Adel”. Another ballerina friend of hers~ Adeline helped her put Vincent together by untangling the mess of jumper cables required to animate him. She hasn’t seen her since Halloween, but she’d love to chat with the eccentric girl again~

♥Fluffy & Vincent: Two off-the-record characters…~ They’re both Marianne’s creations, and she loves them dearly~ Fluffy was her first assigned creature, a beast designed for tracking who looks ferocious, but it’s really just a cowardly lapdog…that’s the size of a bear.
Vincent was a monster she made for the store’s haunted house, based on the vague description of Mary Shelley’s creature in Frankenstein. Marianne was so fixed on going by the book that she even went so far as to shock the dead body with jumper cables and lightning rods to bring it to life. (of course, it was magic lightning so that probably helped a bit lol) Vincent is kind of like her manservant, though he makes himself scarce and generally hangs in the basement.

ahh gosh so much writing ffasfsd but i’m glad i finally got this done…~
