◊Good aim when throwing things
◊Her fingers can extend into sharp claws

Demon:
◊It can't use any spells if the puppet is human-sized. Being in the mortal world strains its magic, and it ran out of steam making the doll bigger. That being the case if Marianne were in the doll's tinier, original form, she would be able to use her magic.
◊To an extent ( a very very, very, very, VERY restricted extent ), she can manipulate souls. Meaning she can hold them and probably play catch with them...but she can't extract them all neat and clean the way Soul Collectors do. ( what a lame demon lmfaosob )
◊The demon specializes in ice magic.

Personality :
◊CREEPY: has an unhealthy fascination with the human body... rather humans in general. And she just generally creeps around.
◊HEMOPHILIAC: doesn't mind working with blood; she really prefers it.
◊SPACEY & TALKATIVE: not on purpose, mind you. She has her head in the clouds most of the time and basically forgets that people are there. Unfortunately, this also means she's a bit of a mushroom...and rarely kept up-to-date on current events. But when she does notice someone...she doesn't shut up. Like, ever.
◊CHEERY & EAGER: despite being a complete nut, she's rather content most of the time. She loves people and tries to be as friendly as she knows how. Sometimes...she gets too chipper...but she's almost always smiling~
◊SELF-PRESERVING: wifty as she is, she's smart enough to know who's stronger than her and who to respect (ex., Nol and her managers) for the sake of staying out of trouble
◊LOLICON: cute things are one of her main weaknesses. I can't stress this one enough. If she finds you cute, but you hate hugs, run.
◊CURIOUS: whenever she gets ahold of new information, she feels a compulsion to look up on it. Unfortunately...that doesn't always apply to research. She can be a terrible gossip sometimes...;; Aside from that, she likes to read for pleasure, too...her favorites are horror and sci-fi stories~

Bio : Marianne Cross was a kind, quiet nurse from a town so tiny you wouldn't be able to find it on a map. She'd worked in the local clinic to help support her father, a retired carpenter who, though old, doted on his daughter. Sadly, when she was twenty-one, Marianne began to show signs of consumption. After months of suffering, she died, leaving her father to grieve. At her funeral, her father resolved to bring his beloved Marianne back to the world, no matter what. He crafted a small puppet in her image, and began studying black magic and the art of summoning. When everything was prepared, he recited a spell that would bind Marianne's soul to the doll. But you have to remember, being driven by grief and possessed by such a dark practice like necromancy, the old man barely knew what he was doing. Unknowingly, he opened the door for both Marianne's soul, and a minor demon. The souls merged in the puppet, combining all of Marianne's memories with the mind of a monster. This demon, being strong enough to possess, but too weak to really perform anything of substance, used its available power to force its wooden vessel into a human form, then killed her father with its claws. Finding Marianne's knowledge of the body, and humans in general, very interesting, the demon began traveling around to feed its curiosity.
Then she found the Toy Store. Imagine her surprise (and elation!) when she discovered she could be paid for working with bodies! Needless to say, she grabbed an application at the first chance she got~

Story behind this in a nutshell: having just about enough of people (mostly bunnies for some reason) bagging on how EASY the assembler's job is, she took it upon herself to challenge a certain blue, one-eared, scythe-wielding rabbit with a huge freaking ego to a zombie-making contest. The bet was, if she lost, she'd have to cut her hair. If she won she'd be able to abuse Psyche's "ear weakness" whenever she wanted.
But she won! She only cut her hair because it's springtime! Springtime calls for cute, shorter hairstyles, of course~
She totally didn't do it to deflate the bunny's ego even more nooooo...

Likes : tools, bodies, talk talk TALKING, books, sweets, coffee, her friends~ working

Dislikes : running out of projectiles, quiet people ( they make her nervous ), shoes, interruptions, being called a “creep”, or having her hair made fun of

◊If she finds you interesting, she'll cling to you.
◊I find this little fact very amusing~ Marianne was designed like a traditional wooden puppet. That being, her head weighs about twice as much as her body in toy form. She will not be able to move without some assistance because the sheer weight of her head would floor her in a second
◊She's a freaking nurse. She knows how to treat injuries and carries around bandages for such occasions.
◊If she offers you anything she made that isn't like, coffee or cocoa, don't eat it. You'll probably have to get your stomach pumped.
◊She has two beloved creations: a tracking creature, "bereloux", named Fluffy ( [link] [link] ) and a Frankenstein-esque zombie manservant named Vincent ( [link] [link] [link] ). I don't think these guys are allowed to exist though lmfao :'D

Demon:
◊The demon is by no means trapped in the puppet...it chooses to remain on Earth. That being, the demon can leave the puppet whenever it wants to use the full extent of its power. However...that doesn't come without a price. The demon can last about fifteen minutes outside its puppet before it gets too weak, especially if it decides to get all lenient with its magic. If it doesn't return to the doll, it'll disappear back to its own dimension.
◊The reason the demon doesn't need to eat souls like others of its kind is because it has a direct line to one particular soul...the original Marianne Cross. As long as it doesn't completely drain the little nurse's soul...it can make its energy last as long as it needs. Unfortunately, this fasting also means it can't sap enough energy to keep its magic up. ( I say again...whatalamedemonlmfao )}
